Texas-based, Father-and- son duo The Stoned turn in their second single for Atlantic Standard, and deliver a couple of sublime sample workouts. Groovy sunshine, swirling sweeps, and bouncing bass give depth to two disco-fuelled stompers. The mournful guitar lick simmering on a bed of funk asserts that “Nobody’s Perfect”, while skipping beats, a headstrong strut, and horny stabs remind us “There’s Nothin’ To It But To Do It”.
